Arrangements
Donkey Kong Country (Game Boy Color)
In the Game Boy Color remake of Donkey Kong Country, a chiptune arrangement of "Fear Factory" plays in the same levels as the original version.
Donkey Kong Country (Game Boy Advance)
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country, an arrangement of "Fear Factory" plays in the same levels as the original version. This rendition is much more compressed than the original and uses different, lower-quality instruments.
Donkey Kong Country Returns
In Donkey Kong Country Returns, as well as the Nintendo 3DS port, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and the Nintendo Switch port, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, an arrangement of "Fear Factory," titled "Factory Friction" in the music gallery, plays during the Factory levels Slammin' Steel, Handy Hazards, Gear Getaway, and Lift-off Launch. It also plays in the Cloud level Robo Factory in the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch ports. This version is quite faithful to the original.
A second arrangement, titled "Automatic Action" in the music gallery, plays during the level Music Madness. This rendition is a lot more electronic compared to the original, with a focus on heavy percussion and synthesizers.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
An arrangement of "Fear Factory", titled "Frozen Frenzy" in the music gallery, plays in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port during the level of the same name. This rendition is much more synthetic and foreboding than the original.
